２００７　ｉｓ　ｃｏｍｉｎｇ。。

We are the costume designer and make-up group for the play. There are six people in our group. They are Joanne, Sue, Julie, Vicky, Miphee and Ann. Some are responsible for make-up, some for hairstyles and others for costume design. Our group played a vital role in transforming the physical appearance of the actors to those of the characters in the play. We had to make the main actors look as if they were from the fifteenth century.
Joanne’s job was to be responsible for Clopin and Phoebus’s make-up, costumes and accessories. Sue’s job was to set up the VCD and record the actors’ scenes. She also would measure the characters for costumes. Julie’s job was to put on make-up for Quasimodo. Vicky’s job was to help Julie and other group members. Miphee’s main job was to affix eyelashes and primer. Ann is our team leader, and she was responsible for Frollo’s make-up.

Clopin is a lively character. Her skin is dark colored; hair is elflock. She wears large Hip-Hop clothes and a golden aglet. Her face needs something dirty to reveal the role’s vigorous nature.

Pheobus, the captain of the guard, is a person who has a sense of justice. He also falls in love with Esmeralda. He wears a green military uniform and carries a gun. His clothes and hair style are very clean-cat.

Frollo, is an evil character in the play. We used black eye shadow, in contrast to his white face to show he’s a big, bad man! For his hair style, we used pomade to make his hair be glossy. For his costume, we used a deep green suit and a shiny cross necklace.

Esmeralda is a Gypsy. She has beautiful eyes and a long curly hair. Her dress should fit a graceful dancer, and she wears a golden aglet on the waist. She also has earrings and a necklace with golden spangles. It is her free spirit.

His name is Quasimodo and is an important role in the play. His hair is dyed red, and he will wear a pair of broken trousers. There are a lot of terrific patterns and color for his face. We stuffed newspapers and towels to create his hunchback.
